God of Love

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Ezekiel‬ ‭36:26

God’s Love

God’s love is so infinite that even in their rebelliousness He promised to take the hardness out of the hearts of His people and give them a heart that is more sensitive. What an amazing promise from an awesome God.

Prayer

I pray for a heart like yours. A heart that loves in spite of wrongs endured. A heart that forgives all. Give me a heart that gives despite being taken advantage of.

You are love and your word admonishes us that if we have not love in us, we are liars and have no knowledge of you. I know you and I love you so help me to love all of your creation. Uproot the seeds of resentment, of bitterness, of anger that have taken up residence in my being.

Create in me a clean heart, give me that heart of flesh that is sensitive to the needs and feelings of others. Help me to serve with love and compassion, I pray.
